As a Financial Planner you will be part of a specialized sales team who helps doctors with financial planning, investments, insurance and consulting. Job Responsibilities
As a Financial Advisor you will be responsible for executing the vision of the firm by providing financial planning, insurance and investment services to new and existing clients.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Working with management to support their insurance and investment business
  • Working with support staff to establish and maintain client records and files
  • Reviewing all paperwork for completeness and compliance
  • Ensuring follow up is completed within five business days to ensure account has been opened and checks received
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with clients, advisors, vendor and broker-dealer
  • Ensuring daily blotters and other appropriate NASD broker-dealer requirements are maintained
  • Ensuring staff is completing all new business processing accurately

Additional requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Life and health insurance licensure, Series 7, Series 66 or combination of Series 65 and 63; CFP certification a plus
  • Superior math and logic aptitude
  • Computer skills; e.g., solid knowledge of MS Office as well as experience with industry specific software, Salesforce, Google Apps, web meeting software
  • Ability to use independent judgment with consistent use of discretion and judgment

Job Description

Work closely with a financial advisor and clients regarding implementation of financial plans, opening accounts and setting up insurance policies. Contacting, scheduling and updating clients on status of planning activities. Providing ongoing service and communication via phone, email, text and video conferencing. Views financial advisor’s clients as their own and work to develop a strong relationship with them. Provide positive experience throughout each stage of planning which creates referrals.
